We’re headed towards Point Lookout State Park. Looking for a place for lunch, we stopped at an old favorite in Solomon’s Island just off Rte 4 – Ruddy Duck.
I grabbed a crab cake and Radler (lemonade and Helles). It hit the spot.

Big Meadows
Big Meadows Campground, VA October 1-3, 2018
Mrs. Adventures and I love the Big Meadows Campground in the Shenandoah National Park. The park is beautiful with hiking trails, including part of the Appalachian Trail, plus waterfalls, showers, and a nice lodge just in case the weather turns bad. Continue reading Big Meadows
