Mrs. Adventures and I went to the Baltimore Flower Mart yesterday. The city closes a few blocks of Charles Street around the Washington Monument. There is live music, lectures, food, beer, wine, flowers, and plants. It was fun. I walked away with a mushroom log that I will put in my backyard. If all goes well, I’ll be harvesting white oyster mushrooms this summer. Perhaps there is an oyster mushroom stout homebrew in my future?

After a brief thunderstorm, we walked over to Sapwood Cellars for a quick beer. I ordered a Frenchmen pizza made with brie, figs, and honey from the Dizzy Cow Pizzeria, today’s food truck.
