So last night my life changed forever. I proposed to the love of my life, Gillian. Love is such an intimate feeling and there’s no play book on how to find true love. At times we look for love and end up in the wrong places. Sometimes we think love is real and it turns out to be false. No one is perfect, everyone has triumphs and failures in love. I’ve been ridiculed by others for previous relationships and I admit that I’m partly to blame. But after each relationship I learned more about myself and what makes a great partner and what it takes to be a great partner. Gillian truly is incredible and she is the most supportive of my dreams and ambitions. I support what she believes in also. However high she aims for in life, I’ll be right by her side. Love is teamwork, compromise, communication, admiration, accountability, honesty, family, friendship, and a host of other things. As I grow older I know I’m going to have the best teammate by my side. I love you Gillan!
