Pumpkin Ale labeled

Pumpkin Ale Labeled

With the help of my kids, we put labels on the Pumpkin Ale bottles.

Labeling tools

Child labor laws be damned*, I managed to coerce my kids to put labels on our Pumpkin Ale bottles.

We had 10 bombers and 22 12-ounce bottles. We used a paper cutter to cut up the printouts (9 to a page) and whole milk to “glue” the labels to the bottles. What can I say, I’m cheap, plus it’s really easy to wash off the labels for reuse. It only took us about 20 minutes to label all the bottles.

* These kids are 25 and 31 years old.

Pumpkin Ale (2019)

Afterward, we tasted the ale.

As you can see, the Pumpkin Ale is a pretty beer. The nose is wonderful with caramel and pumpkin pie aromas. It tastes of pumpkin and pie spices with malt and brown sugar sweetness, finishing abruptly tasting of hops and spices. It’s gluten reduced. We’ll serve it out of a hollowed out pumpkin dispenser in glasses with brown sugar on the rim.

Some of my readers have had complaints about seeing the pictures. I’m experimenting with the size of the pics. I hope this helps.

Cheers!
