Five intrepid explorers braved the wilds of Columbia, MD, determined to reach their final goal – Sapwood Cellars.
Our heroic hikers traveled from the Village of Oakland Mills along muddy Columbia paths, through the dreaded Orchard Green tot lot, wading through the 108 break in the fence and the treacherous swamp lands, jaywalking across the river of cars known as 108 and finally traversing over vast parking lots to arrive into the welcoming shelter known as Sapwood Cellars. The entire grisly journey took 11-minutes to walk. Egad!!
The thirsty band of travelers quaffed delicious pints of malt beverages in celebration of completing their strenuous journey. They sampled exotic ales such as:
Vanillafort (DIPA)- Rings of Light (Pale Ale)
- Cheater Hops #6: Motueka-Mosaic-Simcoe (NE IPA)
- Atomic Apricot (Fruited sour)
- House Saison #2.
Undaunted by this challenging trek, our gallant adventurers dare to repeat the difficult journey from the Village of Oakland Mills to the Sapwood Cellars again on March 16th.
Cheers!
Warren
