Tim Brady, Founder and General Manager of Pale Fire Brewing Co. stopped by our table at Frisco, Wednesday night.

Tim Brady (not to be confused with that famous NE Patriot QB) invited us to visit his Harrisonburg, VA brewery. He said there are 5 breweries in the area. Can you say road trip? They are:

• Restless Moons Brewing
• Brothers Craft Brewing
• The Friendly Fermenter
• Three Notch’d Brewing
• Pale Fire.

I tried Pale Fire’s Salad Days, an interesting saison. This 2015 Great American Beer Festival bronze winner starts out tasting and smelling like a typical IPA. As it warms, a subtle spicy rye flavor appears. Warming more, saison esters blend with hops and rye to make an interesting, complicated beer.
