I am the cooler king of raffles! For the second time, I have won a cooler at a Frisco Tap House raffle, this time a Terrapin Beer Co. airtight cooler.

My new Terrapin Cooler is an Engel Eng25T Deepblue Cooler, similar to the Yeti coolers that keep things cold for days. My Engel is advertised to “maintain cold and ice for up to 8 days”. Mrs. Adventures and I look forward to using this on our next camping trip. Thanks to Drew from Bond Distributing for selecting my winning ticket. Oh, yea, a few years back, I won another cooler at Frisco, a Founders cooler – often spotted at the Adventures’ parties.

BeerIQ

While drinking a Terrapin Moo Hoo (an amazing chocolate milk stout), we all had fun playing BeerIQ, a party game that Santa brought me for Christmas. This game is not for Cicerone wannabes, it’s more of a beer trivia game. Up to 4 teams can play, each team needs at least 2 players. The first round tests your beer trivia knowledge and the second round tests your memory – you provide the answers from the cards used in the first round using only 1 or 2 keywords. We all seemed to have fun and I would recommend this game, even those with limited beer knowledge.
