Columbia, MD June 19, 2018
Ninety minutes before the Columbia Orchestra started playing, it was pouring. We were lucky, by 7:00 PM the sky was clear. We enjoyed a beautiful evening listening to music ranging from Star Wars, Sousa, and the 1812 Overture.
Since the grass was wet, we brought chairs. The always entertaining maestro, Jason Love, started things off with the theme from Game of Thrones. New this season was Wonder Women featuring a green electric cello, a tribute to Billy Joel and solos/duets from a talented singing couple, Frédéric Rey, tenor and Julie Hiscox, soprano. I always enjoy the 1812 finale.
I did not sample any beer. However, I am happy to say, the only beer available was craft beer. Cans of Manor Hill’s IPA and CF Ale (a pale wheat ale) were for sale from this terrific Howard County brewer.
Cheers!

It was. I highly recommend it.
Where do they hold this event?
