Canton, MA
Trillium Brewing Co. is a rising star in the brewing world. Many of their beers are uniquely hopped giving a strong grapefruit flavor with little bitterness. I have only had a few of their beers, but I’m still trying to find one I don’t like.
Trillium ales are not available in Maryland but I have a fortunate connection. I have a brother-in-law (according to Family Tree maker, he’s just my sister-in-law’s husband, no relation) who lives near Trillium in Canton, MA and loves to share.
For the recent family reunion/80th birthday celebration, a 4-pack of Trillium found its way to me. Thank you Dennis!
Back from seeing the fireworks at Bridgton, ME, we cracked open a Fort Point Pale Ale from Trillium. It was unfiltered, lively with carbonation and smelling of grapefruit. The refreshing grapefruit taste was classic Trillium. Four of us split this pale ale, sharing the deliciousness of this surprising Massachusetts ale.
Cheers!
